Managing News Items
You can add news items to your site by creating a new post. Posts are similar to Pages, however they are used more for dynamic content that is date related.
When you add a new news item an excerpt of the article is automatically added to the “Latest News” box found in the sidebar of your site. If you have more than 5 news items in your site, only the five most recent will appear in the sidebar.
