Managing Pages
In WordPress, you can write either posts or pages. When you’re writing a news entry, you write a post. Pages, on the other hand, are for content such as “About Me,” “Contact Me,” etc. Pages are used to present information about yourself or your site that is somehow timeless – information that is always applicable. You can use Pages to organise and manage any amount of content.
To manage your pages you use the pages links found in the main navigation of the administration back end. You can access your pages in two ways, by clicking on the main “Pages” link, or alternatively by clicking the “pageMash” link found in the pages section of the navigation.
The “pageMash” link has been added to your site to allow you to quickly hide and order pages, details of which are discussed in the relevant areas of this guide.
